Meals

As one of only four fully catered colleges on the ANU Campus, John XXIII College provides some of the best cuisine available on campus:-

  • Breakfast includes a hot buffet breakfast (Monday to Friday) and a daily continental buffet breakfast ( e.g. juices, fresh fruit, cereals, yoghurts, pastries, various breads) - (seven days a week).
  • Lunch and Dinner includes brasserie style hot dishes (a variety of meats, vegetables, potato and rice), cold meats, salad bar and condiments. Provisions are provided to make pizza and sandwiches in the grill or sandwich press. Dessert includes fresh fruit salad.
  • Dinner also includes soft drink machine; hot soups during the winter months; plus a variety of desserts including cakes, muffins, mousse and ice-cream.
  • Drinks are provided at all meals (includes tea, coffee, hot chocolate, water and cordials)
  • Catering for Vegetarian, Halal meals and other cultural requirements are provided
  • A late dinner service is provided for those unable to attend during normal meal times
  • A packed lunch service for those unable to attend during normal meal times
  • A daily newspaper service
  • A casual guest meal service is provided for your friends or family – charged at a nominal fee.  
  • Catering is provided by our in-house catering team
