Johns also prides itself on its artistic endeavors and the multi-talented nature of its students. Each year the college participates in the following activities:-

• College Play – organized and presented each year entirely by students. Past plays have included The Crucible, Cosi, The Importance of Being Ernest.
• Music Recitals – the ‘Music in the Courtyard’ concert series showcases the musical talents of our students each year.
• Inter Hall Arts Shield – Johns competes against other colleges in debating, public speaking, theatre sports, short stories and poetry competitions.
• During 2006 Johns held both the Arts Shield and Sports Shield.
