ALICIA JEFFREY – Business Manager and Head of Administration

Alicia joined the College in 2009 after 5 years of service as the Senior Accountant for another Not-For-Profit, religious organisation.

The Role of the Business Manager is primarily related to the management of all aspects of the financial affairs of the College and related issues.  She provides support and advice in the areas of finance, business and human resources.  The Business Manager also helps to support the Board in its governance role.

 

FIONA McGOWAN-LAY – Finance Officer and Acting Office Manager

With over 10 years of experience in the hospitality sector, Fiona joined the college in 2013 as Admissions Officer.

The Admissions Officer is an integral member of the Administrative Services Team and will undertake, under the supervision of the Business Manager and as part of the Administrative Team, duties in reception, student enquiries, general office duties, student admissions, database maintenance and liaison with other departments in the College.  The Admissions Officer will work closely with the Deputy Head of College.

RENATE VAN DER WALT – Payroll/Finance Officer
Certificate IV in Accounting

With nearly 15 years progressive experience as a financial controller, bookkeeper and payroll administrator, Renate joined John XXIII College in 2011 as the Finance Officer.

The Finance Officer is responsible for assisting with the daily financial management of the College.   She is responsible for Payroll and helps with Accounts Receivable/Payable, Departmental Budgeting and other financial matters as required.

HOLLIE McGOWAN – Admissions Officer

Hollie joined the College in 2019, coming to us from another ANU Residence where she was the Admissions Officer.

The Admissions Officer is responsible for student enquiries, student admissions and maintaining the student database.  She also assists with finance and general office duties.

 

JAMILLA NTLOKO – Reception and Administration

Certificate IV in Event Management 

Certificate III in Business Management

Jamilla joined the office team in 2019 after doing similar roles in different businesses in Canberra.

Jamilla is the face of the office handling reception and phone enquiries.  She also assists with other general office duties.
