Studying in Canberra

To become part of the J23 family, you must receive and accept an offer to study at a Canberra university.

While most of our students’ study at ANU, we also accept students from the University of Canberra, the Australian Catholic University and the Australian Defence Force Academy.

Step 1.
For ANU Students
ANU students lodge an application via the ANU Accommodation Portal, specifying that their college of choice is John XXIII.

Step 2.
For non-ANU Students
Non-ANU students e-mail the College’s Admissions Officer to lodge your interest in applying to John XXIII College

Step 3.
Quick quiz
The College will email you a link to the online J23 prospective resident questionnaire. The invitation and your submission of the questionnaire does not mean you are guaranteed a J23 room.

Step 4.
Interview
Following the submission of the questionnaire, you’ll complete an interview with the Head of College or the Admissions Officer. This interview can take place in person, over the phone or via Skype.
